Apple Creek Shooting Range is a public, unstaffed facility managed by the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC), offering outdoor rifle, pistol, and archery ranges. It also features a seasonal staffed trap and skeet range operated by the Cape County Gun Club.

Know before you go

  • The range is open 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset.
  • Only paper targets are permitted on the provided holders, with the exception of clay birds on the shotgun range.
  • Fully automatic firearms, tracer, incendiary, or armor-piercing ammunition are not allowed.
