Beaverdam Rifle Range — Edgefield, SC

Beaverdam Rifle Range is a public outdoor rifle range managed by the Francis Marion and Sumter National Forests (U.S. Forest Service). The facility includes right-handed, left-handed and accessible shooting benches with 25- and 100-yard backstops and is open to the public. The range is closed every Wednesday from 08:00 to 10:00 for routine maintenance.

Know before you go

  • All firearms must be unloaded and cased when entering and leaving the range.
  • A valid permit must be displayed at the shooting table while in use.
  • Shooters must clean up all casings, litter, and target holders before leaving.
