Big Salty Range — Salt Lake City, UT

Big Salty Range is a specialized competitive shooting facility in Salt Lake City dedicated to hosting clubs for USPSA, SCSA, SASS, and multi-gun competitions. The outdoor range features 14 tactical bays and two 100-yard bays, complete with cowboy town facades and various match props. While the facility is primarily restricted to Big Salty Range Officers for individual practice, its hosted competitive matches are open to public participation.

Know before you go

  • No ammunition handling is allowed inside designated safety areas at any time.
  • Rifle calibers exceeding 5.56 mm are strictly prohibited on the range, excluding specific cowboy action calibers.
  • Only directly north facing targets may be utilized, ensuring all impacts hit the rear berm.
