Birchwood Recreation & Shooting Park — Shooting Range in Chugiak, AK

Birchwood Recreation & Shooting Park is a 72-acre private membership facility located along the Cook Inlet in Chugiak, Alaska. The park features eight outdoor rifle and pistol ranges with distances ranging from 7 yards up to 300 meters, as well as multiple shotgun fields for trap, skeet, five-stand, and sporting clays. Additional amenities include an international bunker trap, a 3D archery course, and on-site RV and tent camping facilities for members.

Know before you go

  • Members must wear their issued sign-in wristbands in visible locations while using the facility.
  • Rifles and pistols must start the firing sequence past the overhang on the ranges.
  • Shotguns must remain empty and open at all times unless on active shooting stations.
