Blue Creek Sport Shooting is a 275-acre complex and game bird preserve located nine miles outside of Billings, Montana. The facility offers a comprehensive outdoor experience featuring rifle ranges up to 1,000 yards, pistol bays, a walking archery range, and extensive clay target facilities including sporting clays and trap. Designed with a rural farm and ranch theme, it serves as a premiere destination for sport shooting, dog training, and youth shooting programs in the Rocky Mountain Region.

Know before you go

  • Range users must call 406-670-1183 before shooting long range as it closes temporarily when cattle are released.
  • Green-tip ammunition and armor-piercing projectiles are completely prohibited on all ranges within the facility.
  • Shotguns are strictly prohibited for use on the rifle, pistol, and open area bays without prior approval.
