Fernan Rod & Gun Club is a private shooting facility located on US Forest Service land in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The site features eight multi-use shooting bays and a long-distance rifle range with known distances out to 400 yards. The facility serves as a joint range for civilian, military, and police training and includes a Training Center with classrooms and a full kitchen.

Know before you go

  • Do not drive through the creek when water is present in the ford on the rifle line.
  • Position steel targets within five feet of the back berms with fire directed toward back corners.
  • Pack out all used shotgun shells because they resist biodegradation and do not leave them on site.
