Outdoor Shotgun Range — Valparaiso, NE

A public outdoor shotgun range within the Branched Oak State Recreation Area featuring four trap fields and a five-stand sporting clays range, also offering archery and a sight-in range for rifles and handguns. It is managed by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.

Know before you go

  • No rifles or handguns are allowed in the shotgun-specific range areas.
  • Target shooting of Blue Rocks (clay targets) is permitted only in designated areas.
  • Shooters must pick up all empty shells and debris before leaving.
  • Alcohol and drug use is strictly prohibited on the premises.
