The Richland Public Rifle Range is a 5-acre county-operated outdoor facility featuring concrete shooting benches with shingled roofs and distances from 50 to 200 yards. Usage is free, sustained by donations, and managed by the Richland County Sheriff's Department.

Know before you go

  • Clean up all brass and targets thoroughly after you finish shooting.
  • Only paper targets, hung from designated stands, are permitted for use.
  • Shooting is not allowed between sunset and sunrise.
  • Shooters under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult, or be 14+ with a hunter safety certificate.
