Know before you go

  • Valid Virginia Resident Hunting License or Non-Resident Shooting Preserve License is required for all participants, including spectators.
  • Absolutely no shot larger than #6 is allowed at any time; Game Load 7.5 is recommended.
  • Black powder and muzzle-loading shotguns are strictly prohibited.
  • Reservations are strictly required for all hunts; same-day walk-ins are not guaranteed.
