Upper Delta Wildlife Management Area Shooting Range — Stockton, AL

The Upper Delta Wildlife Management Area (WMA) Shooting Range is a public outdoor facility managed by the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (ADCNR). It features a unique safety design requiring firearm barrels to be inserted into steel tubes before firing, offers distances up to 100 yards, and includes a designated clay target area. Know before you go

  • Shooters must have a valid WMA or hunting license on their person at all times while at the range, rather than left in a vehicle, to avoid being fined by conservation officers.
  • Only paper or self-healing targets are permitted, and they must be positioned within the bottom 5 feet of the dirt embankment backstop.
